A Quick Bio

A New England native, Jennifer Trebino has been a member of the hospitality community on both coasts from a young age. Shortly after graduating from the University of New Hampshire, she headed to Seattle and worked for the Batalis at their family restaurant, Salumi Artisan Cured Meats, where she honed her love for hospitality, the fast pace of the retail business and all things dry-cured. After working several years in the Emerald City as a Creative Director for MAD Pizza, a private chef for O’Dea Catholic High School and a Winery Event Associate at JM Cellars in the heart of Washington wine country, Trebino moved to the English countryside. There, she spent time traveling, practicing photography, blogging, and volunteering at a local Creamery. Trebino returned home to her Boston roots in 2013 and married Chef Rian Wyllie, Executive Chef at beloved Boston hangouts Deep Ellum and Lone Star Taco Bar.

In 2014, Trebino started her own social media consulting firm, Quip + Ivy, quickly gathering a roster of clients that includes some of Boston’s most popular restaurants and retail businesses, such as Cambridge Brewing Company, Deep Ellum and Lone Star Taco Bar. Jennifer also served as Maitre D’ for the James Beard Award-winning Oleana Restaurant, where her customer service, communication skills, drive and determination made an instant impact on the restaurant and its staff. When she’s not orchestrating dynamic social media campaigns for her clients, you can find her designing floral arrangements, traveling, antiquing and photographing her way through New England with her husband.

“I have been working with Jen for over a year now. Our social media presence is vastly improved and activity is much higher. In addition to a more professional online look, Jen brings strategic thinking and creative marketing campaign ideas to the table. We have seen significant results from her contributions!”
-Phil Bannatyne
Owner, Cambridge Brewing Company

“I have come to rely on Jen’s expertise and intuition from many vantage points. Jen’s motivation and energy are contagious, and I am thrilled to be working alongside her. She would be an asset to any business and brings confidence and humanity to an industry that can be very voyeuristic.”
-Mary Westcott Thomajan
Owner, Westcott Mercantile

“Over the years, I have also had the pleasure of working with Jen in roles such as event planning, marketing, and social media. These are her true interests and where she thrives. Her creativity and imagination are enviable. I think her artistic work speaks for itself and is something we all aspire to. As an obsessively organized person myself, I am blown away by her organizational skills. She is extremely detail oriented, hard working, intelligent, and independent. She works well under pressure. More than anything, I appreciate her ability to communicate. She understands the importance of clear, concise, and effective communication in every capacity. She has opinions and isn’t afraid to express them. At the same time she respects other’s opinions and is open to feedback. She appreciates constructive criticism and actually uses it to grow. Jen is capable of whatever she sets her mind to. Any team would be fortunate to have her.”
-Sara Fetbroth
General Manager, Oleana Restaurant

“Jennifer’s knowledge of our restaurants and her ability to adapt to our vision was a huge advantage to our entire organization. She put her skill set to work and completely changed our social media presence, which was lacking tremendously before her arrival. Jennifer wants our companies represented in the best light and continually contacts and responds to media outlets and press inquiries to ensure our presence within the community is accurate and relevant. Along with her undeniable talent, Jennifer has always been an absolute joy to work with. She is a true team player, and always manages to bring the best out of our management team and kitchen staff when it came to social media presence.”
-Brian Biattie
